Marketing
Who we build for, and how we reach them.
ROX Games is built for the places where horse racing is already a passion, and priced so that anyone in those markets can take part.
The two great racing markets
Greater China and Hong Kong. Hong Kong is the most intense racing market on earth — the Hong Kong Jockey Club turns over hundreds of billions of HK dollars a season — and racing games travel well across the wider Chinese-speaking world. We meet that market properly: Chinese-language presence, community on Telegram and WeChat, drops timed for Asian evenings, and price points that respect the culture (the number 8 is welcome on ROX; the number 4 is not).
The Gulf. Dubai hosts the richest race day in the world, and the region's connection to the horse is centuries deep. The platform already runs on Dubai time — our daily reward cycle closes at midnight in Dubai — and the Gulf audience is a first-class citizen in everything from race scheduling to the seasonal calendar.
The Year of the Horse
The genesis mint is timed to land inside the Year of the Horse. A one-time mint of digital racehorses, in the one year of the zodiac named for them, is a launch story that tells itself — and it will not come around again for twelve years.
How we grow
- Racing content first — every race on ROX produces a result, a story and a replay worth sharing. The two DN1s meeting in a G1 is an event; a $25 Cosmo winning its way into Group company is a legend.
- Influencers and creators in racing, gaming and crypto niches, with content built around real races rather than promises.
- The floor tier as the funnel — a $25 horse races under the same rules and draws its coat on the same terms as a $5M one, and can be born Super Rare: the cheapest genuine entry in digital racing. Every floor owner is a future breeder, trader and G1 dreamer. (The palette differs by bloodline — Kepler naturals are Hyperion-only — so the claim is equal odds, not an identical pool.)
- Referral and reward programmes, so the community earns from the growth it creates.
The Refugee Stable — a home for ZED RUN owners
When ZED RUN closed in February 2025 — and again when its sequel folded in May 2026 — more than a hundred thousand stables lost their game twice. But not their horses. The ZED racehorses still exist as NFTs on Polygon (contract 0x67f4732266c7300cca593c814d46bee72e40659f), sitting in wallets with nowhere left to race.
ROX runs on the same chain, which means we can verify a ZED owner in one on-chain read — no forms, no screenshots, no trust. The Great Migration: connect your wallet, we detect your ZED horses, and they enter your ROX stable with a Legacy badge — same names, ready to race on our tracks. Their old game abandoned their horses; ours puts them back under starting gates.
Legacy horses climb the ladder like everyone (starting in the dust classes, paying normal entries), and can earn the right to cross-breed with ROX bloodlines through wins. Nothing is given away: the migration targets the exact audience that has already proven it will pay for digital horse racing, and every step a migrant takes — entries, stud fees, mints for pure blood — feeds the economy.
