Racing / Further Expansion

Further Expansion

What comes after the core loops.

The platform grows along the lines the community has already asked for.

Mobile

The platform's races, marketplace and stable management brought to iOS and Android — racing is a check-in-five-times-a-day habit, and it belongs in a pocket.

Gear and cosmetics

Blankets, leg wraps and headgear as NFT drops — cosmetic only, never performance. Performance comes from genetics and campaigning; gear is how a stable shows its colours. Cosmetic drops are also the natural home for branded and influencer collaborations.

More worlds to race

New racetracks and hippodrome types added seasonally, and further out: land across the worlds, racetrack billboards for advertisers, and community-hosted race meetings.

Spectator games

Prediction contests for people who don't own horses yet — pick the card, beat the crowd, win from sponsored pools. Free to play, so everyone can join. Real-money wagering is a separate, heavily-licensed world; if it ever comes to ROX it will come through licensed third-party operators via API, not from us running a book. The prediction terminology these docs describe (win, place and show, forecast, and the rest) is the shared language of both.

APIs and partners

Race data, results and streams exposed for integration — racing media, stats sites and game partners building on the same stored, provable results the platform itself runs on.

Also under consideration for later seasons: horse food (stamina and endurance management) and cosmetic gear — cosmetic only, never performance. Neither is live today, and neither ships before the core racing, breeding and betting loops are complete.
