Market Overview / Monetization

Monetization

How the platform earns.

The platform earns from the genesis mint and from small fees on the activity it hosts. Nothing is extracted from prize pools beyond the published race tax, and every fee is the same for every player.

  1. Genesis horse sales — the one-time mint of 26,992 horses, from $25 to the $3M/$5M royal crown.
  2. Marketplace fees — on every sale, fixed-price or auction.
  3. Race tax — a flat percentage of each prize pool.
  4. Breeding fees — a platform fee on each stud cover, plus the house stud's own book.
  5. In-game advertising (later) — branded billboards on racetracks.

Fee structure

Fee Rate
Marketplace sale (fixed price or auction) 10% of the sale price, paid by the seller
Royalty on external marketplace sales 2.5%
Race tax (deducted from the prize pool) 5%
Breeding — platform fee per cover 5% of the stud fee
Race feed (only when the owner accepts it) 10% of the entry fee, $1 minimum

The race tax is deducted from the pool, never charged on top; the remaining 95% is paid out in full to the placed horses. Stud fees themselves are set by the horse's owner — the platform takes its percentage and the rest goes to the stallion's owner.
