The Money / Marketplace

Marketplace

Buying and selling horses — fixed price and auction, with the full record public.

The ROX marketplace is where horses change hands. It lives inside the platform, prices in dollars, and every listing shows the horse's full public record — bloodline, genotype, coat, rating, races, wins and progeny — so a buyer always knows exactly what they are bidding on.

Two ways to sell

Buy Now. List your horse at a fixed price. The first buyer to pay it owns the horse; the money, less the marketplace fee, is yours immediately.

Auction. Set a starting price and how long it runs, from 1 to 14 days. Bidders compete, and each new bid must beat the top one; your bid is held from your balance and returned the moment someone outbids you. A bid in the last 5 minutes adds 5 minutes, so nobody wins by bidding in the final second. When the time runs out the top bid buys the horse; if nobody has bid, the auction starts a new round at the same price. Once a horse has a bid, the auction cannot be cancelled.

Fees

Fee Rate
Sale on the ROX marketplace 10%
Royalty on external marketplace sales 2.5%

Horses are standard NFTs, so they can also be listed on external marketplaces such as OpenSea; the same metadata travels with them, and the royalty comes back to the platform.

Accounts and custody

You do not need a wallet to start. Horses you buy live in your ROX stable — a custodial account tied to your login — and racing, breeding and marketplace trading all work from there. When you want true self-custody, withdraw any horse on-chain to your own wallet at any time, and bring it back just as easily. Deposits and payouts are handled in dollars, funded however suits you — crypto, card or bank transfer.
