Platform Fees

Every fee on the platform, on one page. No fee exists that isn't listed here, and this page changes before any fee does, never after.

The fee schedule

Activity	Fee	How it's taken
Racing	5% of the prize pool	Deducted from the pool before the 60/25/15 split — never charged on top of an entry. The remaining 95% is always paid out in full to the placed horses.
Marketplace sale (Buy Now or auction)	10% of the sale price	Deducted from the seller's proceeds. Listing is free.
External marketplace royalty	2.5%	Standard NFT royalty when a horse sells on OpenSea or similar.
Race feed	10% of the entry fee, $1 minimum	Charged from your cash balance only when you accept it — the Feed switch when you enter a race, or the feed setting on an Auto Race plan. Switch it off and nothing is charged.
Breeding	5% of the stud fee	Deducted from the fee before it reaches the stallion's owner. Breeding your mare to your own stallion costs half that stallion's listed stud fee, paid to the platform.
Betting (when live)	12% of the pool	Taken from the pool at settlement, before the winning stakes share what remains — never charged on top of a stake. The same 12% is the margin built into the prices shown before a race, so the two cannot drift. A pool with a single bettor takes no rake at all. Published here so you can hold us to it, and stated identically in the betting terms.
Deposits	0.5%	Charged by the payment provider on every deposit and credited net: a $100 top-up lands as $99.50 in your balance, whichever coin you sent. The network's own fee applies on the way in.
Withdrawals	Network fee, plus 2% to convert to USDC	ROX adds no margin of its own. The network fee is flat per chain — Polygon and BSC $0.50, Tron $1.50, Ethereum $6 — and is taken from the amount you withdraw. Paying out in USDC costs a further 2%, because your balance is held in USDT and the swap is a real trade; withdraw USDT and there is no conversion charge.

Where the fees go

The platform's cut is not pure profit — it is deliberately shared back into growth and play:

• Half of the race tax, breeding fee and betting margin funds the affiliate program — the people who build the community are paid from our share, never from prize pools or stud fees.
• Package discounts are funded from our race-tax share — a discounted entry still contributes its full fee to the prize pool.
• The rest operates the platform: servers, the broadcast channel, development, and seeding the graded-race purses.

The principle behind the whole schedule: players pay each other, and we take a visible slice for running the sport. Prize pools, stud fees and winnings are never silently taxed twice.
